Great facility - well done you
Motion before motion- interesting!!!
Looks great to me!! Yes Rickies swing is beautiful!!
ise laid sum shaft on them hos once
Pretty sure the pressure traces of the tour pros is more in the ball of the foot in the backswing and not as much in the heel. Michael needs to work on the swing.
Very helpful, Michael!⛳️
Man, this is just what I need! Carry on! Love it!
Great simple drill! Thank you!
Hey Bill, Are you still teaching in IL? Thanks
Great technology. Poor technique.
That was very helpful!
This fabulous, really makes the weight shift understandable thx Michael
Never tired of listening to Michael Breed, THE best golf coach! Please explain "touching the thigh". Do you mean the butt of the golf club actually touching the thigh or just from a photo point of view, (when the photo is viewed from the front)? Thanks,
He means from the photo point of view
Nice
Nice video - a better analysis would be to show us how her swing is different from most pros and HOW she gets into her positions in her swing
Wow! What a mess. Sometimes you have to look at your production and recognize it is not good and start over.
This is gold! Not sure what comes first - good swing mechanics or good footwork, but I was never able to really improve until I understood the proper footwork and pressure sequence throughout the swing.
Who would you say is the cleanest pressure trace you have seen?
Need a down the line view, as well. I am assuming this parallel to the ground is also parallel to the target line, but a face-on camera angle cannot show this, and you didn't say.
Search out Mike Adams for the truth everyone is either a front post rear post or center post on backswing this video is just word salad trying to make everyone swing the same
This is most self-contradictory golf teacher in history; guy says one thing and the next lesson saying something completely different or contradicts
She also said that she actually hits down on her driver. 0.5° but not hitting up nevertheless. This is a huge point that many amateurs could take away. Guys got their shoulders tilted way too much at setup and they hit the ground behind the ball, or snap hook it. Dont need to hit up
Why make excuses for her swing faults.? Yes, she has some good features, but her swing is better as a cautionary tale, for the most part. Keep your left arm straight. Especially, at impact...no excuses Keep your heels on the ground...no excuses. Peace.
Her swing is a thing of beauty. I love videos like this. Have you ever analyzed Fred Couples swing like this Michael?
Yada yada, move the lower body first. Wish it was that easy.
It is. Go skip some stones.
@@nicholasdemetriades9154it’s really not.
Great analysis…thanks Coach!
Great to see your swing analyses once again, Michael. I used to watch your show all the time on the Golf Channel many years ago. You stated at the beginning that Korda has one of the best swings in the LPGA tour and the game of golf. What constitutes a great swing? Leaving putting and chipping aside, I figure you are talking about the full iron/hybrid/wood/driver swing. What are the criteria for a good swing? -Consistency? (Reliability) -Distance? -Accuracy? (Validity) -Repeatability? If those are the criteria, then someone like Moe Norman would have the best swing of all time. (I don't include wins because that's more of an all-around game AND mental fortitude.) I figure that it doesn't matter what your swing looks like (compare Furyk, Raymond Floyd, DeChambeau, Scheffler, and Jake Knapp), as long as it is reliable and accurate with repeated results and decent distance.
really great comment ...lots of ways to get it done
Even Golf Digest agrees that Moe Norman has the best swing: ruclips.net/video/5ykmkqeUDlc/видео.html
don't agree .. met Moe 3x's .. he was a great ball striker and he was called Pipeline Moe for a reason but he was notoriously short .. eg 7 iron 140 yards @@chachichochacorta8577
He's 6'3" 200 pounds and a big, strong athletic guy. Most golfers are going to hit it REALLY short trying to emulate his swing. It works for him and the reason he hits it so straight is he essentially holds that clubface down the line cutting a little across it for as long as possible. He will never miss left and in fact has to really contort his body to hit draws but that's a good thing. As a right handed golfer you want to completely take the left side out of play. It's what Hogan wrote his entire book about.
True but an entirely different swing.
Thanks, Mike for your tip on getting the feeling of the arms, hands and club moving before the body turn. Helped me a lot!
His swing is hideous
I like it right up to the release where his feet start flying around. But if it works, it works.
Club face open ? WTH does that mean?
The face is pointed to the right of his swing path. At impact his swing path is to the left and the face less so (to the right relative to swing path).. The ball will start left but since the face is pointed to the right of the swing path the ball will curve to the right. When the club face points left of the swing path (for a righty) it is closed and produces a draw. When the club face points to the right of the swing path it produces a fade.
why dont u tell the viewers not to tru this swing. wo 1,000's of balls u cant do it... u fuckin guys are ruining the game w ur technical bs.
How do you select frames per second? I have a brand new Samsung S24 so it's more than capable, but the option does not appear.
Jake; it’s because he locks his hip rotation with his slide. Similar to Moe Norman
Is this how it should be with a driver ?
Agreed, excellent analysis Tina! From the time Brooke's club shaft is parallel to the ground at 4:15, she really tucks her right elbow in without extending her trailing arm/elbow all the way to impact at 4:20 - later than most tourney pros. But as long as her timing is impeccable, it's a fantastic way to preserve power and generate clubhead speed without depending on leg/hip rotation for lower hips similar to Moe Norman... although I'd never make the comparison to her face!
Craig Trahan is my golf instructor
Chris has a great swing and maybe the fix for the off weeks has nothing to do with timing and more to do with his body being misaligned (slightly); in other words his . Check out Wright Balance on youtube for how to always stay in balance through 4 yoga type poses (10 seconds each) done at certain stance widths and the hands are holding a golf club, mini baseball bat or pool cue we use to find the grip size that squares your hips.
Seems to show that Jamie is a reverse foot golfer as per Dr Kevin Ball research article. One doesn't have to be dominant COP on lead leg from P6 -P7 to create clubhead speed.
Yikes
I had a session once with Ryan when he was here in Austin.

Sound not so good ...
Excellent analysis. Thank you.
Good video, horrible audio
Hmm.... dont see any pros bending thier arms this much or is this a drill?
That’s what I thought. But go watch Jordan Spieth pre shot routine. He does this
lol did you read the title? It says drill
@@MeanMints5 I know I was only kidding 🤣
'promo sm'
This is the drill of the century. I'm gonna nominate that this video be inducted into the library of congress for posterity sakes, and how to make the golf swing great again. Then I'm gonna submit a bill to the senate that this drill be taught every year K-12.
